Location Fashion Shoot – Part 3

This is part three of an extensive fashion shoot for Lencarta. The first part of the shoot was done in an open grassy area with a couple of short trees, and can be found here. The second part was on an elevated wooden platform, and may be found here. The final part of the shoot took place in a cluttered area that featured a rather

Location Fashion Shoot – Part 2

This is part two of an extensive fashion shoot for Lencarta. The first part of the shoot was done in an open grassy area with a couple of short trees, and can be found here. This second part of the day was shot on an elevated wooden platform, looking over a dense foliage, consisting of nettles, ferns and other items that cause damage. None of

Location Fashion Shoot – Part 1

This was an extensive fashion shoot for Lencarta, with the aim of showing the flexibility of the Safari Li-on location lighting kit. The day was basically split into three distinct locations and looks. The first was an open grassy area, with a couple of short trees providing an ideal framed area. The second was a raised platform, and the third was an old tractor in

Even More Imps!

Remember the proof of concept shoot for the Pendle Imp Festival with Rachel Mason? Well, this is another of the shoots. The original test shoot was nicely paced, quiet and very calm. This was just mayhem!

Location Fashion Shoot

This particular shoot was for a number of clients of the Live Ribble Valley magazine. They included Out of the City, Ken Varey, Charles Campbell Bespoke and the restaurant The Sirloin. The day wasn’t particularly the best, from a weather point of view, but none the less, once organised, we had to get something, come what may!

Lencarta Mach 1N Transceivers in use

This is the promo video for the Lencarta Mach 1N Transceivers. Shot near the studio, in a local children's playground. The images from the day and an explanation of settings etc. can be found here. Many thanks to Matins Arbidans for his time and effort on the day. The guy really can leap over tall buildings! Thanks must also go to Marmalade Toast who produced the video.

The Pendle Imp

This was a “proof of concept” shoot for Rachel Mason (Dare to be Different), working alongside Annie Cabasa and model, Kayleigh Jo Daffern. And the concept? It was part of the Pendle 400 year commemoration of the original Pendle Witch Trials. The makeup and styling were an initial test for the girls taking part in the Pendle Imp Fest.

Fashion Shoot for Lencarta

A shoot for Lencarta, utilising the Safari Li-on and various modifiers. There's a fairly comprehensive walkthrough of each of the three locations used, with explanations as to why we chose the location, the reasons behind the choice of modifier and how we overcame any challenges that became apparent during the day. For those who would rather not watch the moving picture type stuff, or would like

Pro Hair After Show Party

I work very closely with Mark Jackson of Passion 4 Events, and the variation in briefs can be quite something. From huge outdoor proms, right down to managing weddings on the day, with everything inbetween! On this occasion, it was the Pro Hair after show party, and it was to be quite an evening. The event was actually organised in conjuction with Rachel Mason of

More headshots for Catherine Boden

Some of you may recall the portfolio shoot I did for Catherine Boden of Glamorise, a makeup artist and stylist from Manchester. These images were part of a wedding brochure shoot for Calthwaite Hall, and another entry will cover the actual shoot for their brochure at a later date. Due to a number of circumstances, not least the fact the ambient light disappeared as the
