Food Photography for Macdonald Hotels

There’s a number of hotels I photograph food for, the Macdonald Tickled Trout is one of them. This was part of a number of images for an advertising campaign, photographed within their recently refurbished restaurant.

Fashions Finest with Adnan Bayyat

Well, the final destination of Adnan’s journey to London Fashion Week and Fashions Finest, and it’s certainly been interesting. After a very long and intensive day’s shooting, both on location and in the studio, we finally made it. And now?

A Mini Adventure

Lloyd Mini in Colne have been clients and good friends for quite some time. A little while ago we were contacted by the manager, Matt, and asked to photograph the latest released Mini with the intention of having the image on a wall in the handover bay. I asked what he would like, and his answer was “Something interesting”.

Studio Fashion Photography with Adnan Bayyat

After spending most of the day shooting fashion on location for Adnan Bayyat, we then started work on the Couture collection at the studio, and there was an awful lot of it too. It was certainly going to be a long day. All the collections needed to be photographed in one day, as the London Fashion Week with Fashions Finest was looming.

Product Photography Interview for Cabinet Maker Magazine

In the summer of 2014, I was contacted by Cabinet Maker magazine with a request for an interview regarding product photography in relation to the furniture industry. This started a flurry of activity as we quickly shot a number of images specifically for the article, ahead of the interview. We wanted to sow a range of styles and locations, mainly to show our flexibility.

Location Fashion Photography with Adnan Bayyat and Swarez

Part of Adnan Bayyat’s collection for London Fashion Week and Fashions Finest included something a little special. The artist Swarez kindly donated two painted canvases, which had been very carefully prepared by Swarez to be supple. Each of these canvases had a five figure value, and it was certainly a unique material, texture and design. So, with such valuable material, Adnan of course was very careful when he cut them into pieces! Well, you would, wouldn’t you.

The Alcove Bride, Heskin Hall

I was looking for somewhere interesting for my bridal portrait session at Heskin Hall, and came across this wall. It was dark, but had interesting alcoves that I have no idea as to what their intended use is. But for my bridal portrait, their use was pretty obvious.

Location Fashion Photography

Right at the end of October, I received a phone call out of the blue from renowned fashion designer Adnan Bayyat in Manchester. Basically, he was to both open and close the first day’s show at the London Fashion Week with Fashions Finest. His main issue was the fact he needed images of two collections ahead of the show to capitalise on this opportunity. Apparently Adnan already had everything in place, right up to the point where his photographer pulled the plug and let him down. Not just with the photography, but also the locations and models were withdrawn too. We had less than a week to get everything in place, and due to the time restraints, it would all need to be shot in one day.
